OUR HISTORY
In the late 1800s, it was not yet called Fonte Galiano.
It was the country house where Leo and Camelia worked, cultivating the surrounding fields and feeding the animals in the barn: calves, pigs, chickens.
It was a space of toil, but also of silence and contact with nature, where time appeared different, almost nonexistent.
Only the sky decided when the day ended and it was time to set out, to return home to the adjacent village, Fratta Todina.
Over the years the house, which was not yet called Fonte Galiano, underwent major transformations and became abandoned again, moving the barn and animals. The surrounding nature continued to take care of those walls and the changing seasons.
In 2008, Roberto, Leo and Camelia's grandson, renovated the house and gave it a name. Thus Fonte Galiano had its own opening to the encounter, exchange and journey that our guests still make to rediscover nature and the sharing of a time that finally stops flowing.
